About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and Chartful, which is run by Kassim Douglas, a sole trader based in England (“we” or “us”). By creating an account, you agree to them. Our Privacy policy explains how we look after your data.

Who can use Chartful

• You need to be 18 or over.
• Each account is for one person. Please don’t share your login.
• Keep your login safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Linking your accounts

• Only link accounts that you own, or that you manage with the owner’s permission.
• Chartful only reads your stats. It never posts, comments or changes anything.
• You can unlink an account at any time: in the app, find it under Your accounts and press Unlink.
• Each platform’s own rules still apply to your accounts, including the TikTok Terms of Service when you link TikTok. By linking YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
• We can only show what the platforms share with us. If a platform changes or limits its data, some features may change too.

What to expect from the numbers

Your numbers come straight from the platforms, and they update at different speeds. Some arrive up to 3 days late, and platforms sometimes correct their own figures. When a number is still being counted, Chartful tells you.

Our labels (like “Doing great”), comparisons (like “up 20% on last week”) and tips are worked out by Chartful from your own numbers. They don’t come from YouTube, TikTok or Google. Our tips and “what to change” suggestions are ideas, not promises. We can’t guarantee any growth or results.

Plans and payment

• Lite: free, with no card needed.
• Founding testers: while we test Chartful, everyone gets Plus free. We’ll tell you before payments start, and nobody is charged unless they choose Plus.
• Plus: a monthly or yearly subscription. You’ll see the price, including any VAT that applies, before you pay.
• Free trials: when we offer one, you don’t need a card. It simply ends unless you choose to subscribe.
• Renewing: subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You’ll be able to cancel at any time in the app, and you keep Plus until the end of the time you’ve paid for.
• Price changes: we’ll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you want to.
• Your right to cancel: if you’re a UK consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment and get a refund. If you’ve used Plus during that time, we may keep a fair amount for the days you used.
• Other refunds: we don’t refund part-used periods, unless something has gone wrong on our side or the law says we must.

Fair use

Please don’t:

• use Chartful for anything illegal or to harm anyone
• try to hack, overload or break Chartful
• copy, scrape, resell or rebuild Chartful or its content
• link accounts you don’t have permission to use

Your data and our work

Your stats are yours. You allow us to use them only to run Chartful for you, as our Privacy policy explains. Chartful’s name, logo, design and software belong to us.

Changes and breaks

We’re always improving Chartful, so features may change, and sometimes we’ll remove one. We’ll tell you before any important change. Chartful may occasionally pause for maintenance, or when a platform we rely on has problems.

Ending your account

• You can delete your account at any time. Our Delete my data page shows you how.
• We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms. We’ll tell you why, unless the law stops us.
• If we ever close Chartful, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice and refund any time you’ve paid for but not used.

Our responsibility to you

We’ll run Chartful with reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, for problems caused by the platforms, or for business losses such as lost income or opportunities.

If we are responsible for a loss, the most we’ll pay is what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the changes apply.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
